1991 Series 4 Spider

We bought this Alfa in March of 2004 and have enjoyed it thoroughly for 10,000 miles. Delivered new in Ohio, it spent most of its life in the Carolinas. Has always been garaged by former owners, and myself and it shows. PO had beautiful Black & Clear coat paint applied, and except for a few miniature stone chips on the hood, the body is fantastic. Interior sports new seat and door vinyl; looks great. PO installed nice Momo steering wheel. Factory hardtop is available and in fine condition. Car has IAP rear windscreen for top-down comfort at speed. Upgraded speakers and Sony radio ( iPod connection ).

Since our purchase in March of 2004 she has been subjected to regular fluid changes and following service: Alternator unit & belt replaced, new windshield, adjustable upper control arms installed, wiper rack replaced, instrument pod overhauled by PAS. Replaced Fuel filter and main pump July 2007. August 2008: replaced lower A-Arm Bushings and Ball Joints, Rear Trailing Arm bushings, Serpentine belt, Spark Plugs and Wires, and all Power Steering Hoses. Upgraded to IAP Sport Springs and Koni Red Classic Shocks. Powder coated suspension components. June 2009: 15” wheel upgrade with Michelin Pilot Exlato PE2 Tires, alignment and new water pump installed.

PO presented details of full engine overhaul - burns NO oil and runs great. Recently verified as rebuilt by CT Alfa mechanic, with 180+ compression.

Very reliable vehicle: completed round trip from CT to AROC convention in Detroit, including the 4-day Milli Lago Huron. In July of 2009, we drove her across the US to Portland for the AROC Convention, adding 4,800 miles to odometer.
