This restoration candidate was purchased in 2008 from an AlfaBB member in upstate NY. He had recently located it in NJ, where it had been in storage since 1981. After bringing it home, he discovered it was a bit too far gone for him to tackle with his resources at that time. The photo page in this section shows the car as he found it. This is scheduled to be our next project, and will receive the 1750 cc engine that was in our Duetto from Texas.

Here is the 1750cc engine removed from the Duetto.
The drive train of the Duetto was updated to this 1750 during the first owner’s possession. She ran just fine, so no rebuild will be required to put it into the GTV. The clutch, however, had failed (bonding rivets scraping) and will need a new pressure plate and disk.
